RESOLUTION NO. 14-8798
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO DO ANY NECESSARY TEMPORARY
EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO CAIRO LANE UP TO THE
AMOUNT OF$50,000.00 UNTIL PERMANENT REPAIRS ARE
COMPLETED; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS,Cairo Lane is targeted for repairs,and may need temporary emergency repairs;
and
WHEREAS,to prevent unnecessary delay to repairs on Cairo Lane,the City Commission of
the City of Opa-locka desires to authorize the City Manager to do any necessary temporary
emergency repairs to Cairo Lane up to the amount of $50,000.00 until permanent repairs are
complete; town hall meetings will be scheduled in advance with notification for public input by
businesses and residents.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1., The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, Florida, hereby directs and
authorizes the City Manager to do any necessary temporary emergency repairs to Cairo Lane up to
the amount of$50,000.00 until permanent repairs are complete.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
