RESOLUTION NO. 14-8802
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING
THE MANAGER TO SETTLE OR PAY THE CLAIM
OF FORMER COMMISSIONER GAIL MILLER, IN
THE AMOUNT OF $3,158.00; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, a claim for an injury that occurred while in office, was submitted by
former Commissioner Gail Miller, in the amount of$3, 158.00; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to resolve the
claim request of former Commissioner Gail Miller.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble are hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, Florida, hereby
authorizes and directs the City Manager to settle and/or pay the claim of former
Commissioner Gail Miller, in the amount of$3,158.00.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
