Resolution No. 14-8804
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA TO DIRECT THE CITY
MANAGER TO UPDATE THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA WAGE
SCALE FOR EMPLOYEES BASED ON CURRENT WAGE
MODELS; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Opa-locka, Florida, standard employee classification and Wage
Scale Plan has not been updated in several years; and
WHEREAS, the Wage Scale to be adopted should include a minimum and maximum rate
for each class and position; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager is directed by the Commission of the City of Opa-locka,
Florida, to submit the updated classification and Wage Scale to the City Commission for approval:
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Sectionl. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, hereby directs the City
Manager to update, the employee classification and Wage Scale Plan for City employees to reflect
current wage models, and to submit the updated plan to the City Commission for approval.
