CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-43
RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL OF
THE PLAT FOR HENNEPIN COUNTY
WHEREAS, Hennepin County (the "Applicant") has requested approval of a plat of
property containing approximately 146 acres and located in the southwest quadrant of T.H. 55
and Arrowhead Drive; and
WHEREAS, the planning commission reviewed the Applicant's preliminary plat for its
conformance with the ordinances and requirements of the city and, following a public haring on
July 19, 1995, recommended granting preliminary approval of said plat; and
WHEREAS, the city council reviewed the matter at its meeting on September 19, 1995.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota that preliminary approval for the plat of the Applicant's property is hereby granted,
subject to the following conditions:
1. The final plat must be in conformance with the preliminary plat and the
ordinances of the city;
2. The final plat must provide the drainage, utility and wetlands easements required
by the city engineer;
3. The Applicant must submit title evidence to the city attorney for his review in
order to identify the necessary parties to sign the plat;
4. Approval of the final plat is conditional upon the Applicant and the City executing
a P.U.D. Agreement regarding development of the property;
5. The final plat must be submitted to the zoning administrator within 180 days of
the date of approval of this resolution or an extension of such time must be
granted by the city council to its expiration; and

6. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee in an amount necessary
to reimburse the city for its expenses in reviewing this application.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Anne
Theis and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
John Ferris, James Johnson, Thies, and Mayor Theis.
and the following voted against same:
Absent: Philip Zietlow.
None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
