AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, DECLARING CERTAIN
PROPERTY TO BE SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SAID
PROPERTY.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Council of the City of Jefferson, Missouri finds that certain
property in the custody of the Finance Department described below is surplus property
and, as such, represents a burdensome cost for storage and maintenance, and that the
property is no longer needed for any public purpose.

Section 2. The Finance Department is hereby authorized to advertise for bid the
item for sale, and to sell the property to the highest bidder by sealed bid or at public
• auction.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
of its passage and approval.
