RESOLUTION NO. 14-8809
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA,AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO OPEN THE CITY PARKS ON SATURDAY;PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS,the residents of the City of Opa-locka should be able to access the recreational
facilities of the Opa-locka City Parks on Saturday; and
WHEREAS,the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires that the City residents be
accommodated, and have access to the public parks on Saturday; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa-locka desires to authorize the City
Manager to open the City Parks on Saturday.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA,FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, Florida, hereby directs and
authorizes the City Manager to open the City Parks on Saturday, to accommodate the residents of
Opa-locka.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
