AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,AMENDING CHAPTER 19
(MOTOR VEHICLES)SECTION 299(CROSSING FIRE HOSE)ASSESSING COSTS FOR
DAMAGED FIRE HOSES.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Chapter 19 (Motor Vehicles) section 299 (Crossing fire hose) is
amended as follows:
Sec. 19-299.Crossing fire hose.
No vehicle shall be driven over any unprotected hose of a fire department,when laid down
on any street,private driveway or streetcar track,to be used at any fire or alarm of fire,without the
consent of the fire department official in command. In addition to any other Penalty under law,
the fudge shall order the driver of such vehicle to repay the City of Jefferson for the damages
• to such any hose.
