Regular Meeting, April 6, 164
Mayor Riekena presidin
Councilmen present: Hippen, Loots, Huisman and Eckhoff.
Minutes of the previous meeting: were read and approved as read,
by motion of Eckhoff, seconded by Huisman. Motion carried.
A motion to allow all bills to be paid was made by Loots, seconded
ay Hippen. Motion carried.
Treasurer's report was read and approved by motion from Huisman,
seconded by Eckhoff. Motion carried.
The Mayor and the Clerk were instructed to si€.n the quit claim deed
on the transfer of property to the Reformed Church by motion
submitted by Huisman, seconded by Loots. Motion carried.
The Library Board met with the Council to discuss the Library
'situation. The =lyor declared an emerr,ency in regards to a..Library
location and instructed the Council to try to obtain a suitable
location for the Library;

Councilman Lindaman introduced the following resolution: "That
the Town of . Wellsburg go on daylight savin6s time from April 27,
1964 to October 4, 1964, unless rescinded prior to that time."
The resolution was seconded by Hippen. On. roll call the vote was
as follows: Hippen: Aye, Eckhoff:Aye, Huisman:Aye, Lindaman,Aye.
The Mayor declared the resolution carries':..
The Mayor named the followinC Councilmen to serve with the Library
Board on the rernodelinC, project: Hippen., Lindaman and Eckhoff.
