CITY COUNCIL
MINUTES
OCTOBER 19, 1982
Mayor Tyrell declared the time to be 7:30 p.m., October 19,
1982, the time for the regular meeting of the Temple City
Council. Three members, Tom Atkins, William Dennis,. and Mary
Lou Swain are at the League of California Cities Conference in
San Diego on City business. Mr. Kenneth Gillanders was
apparently advised of a lack of quorum and did not appear, and
there being a lack of quorum there will be no Council meeting.
On the Mayor's prerogative pursuant to a request by Helen Mote,
I hereby declare the first week of November to be "Art Week in
Temple City". The secretary will inform Ms. Mote. Also, in
accordance with request from the State Attorney General's office,
I hereby declare October 25 -29, 1982 as "Annual Safe Schools
Week" and instruct the secretary to advise the school district
and advise the local newspaper of both declarations.
