CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 95-63
RESOLUTION APPROVING 1996
BUDGET AND TAX LEVY
WHEREAS, the City Council has prepared a budget for the operations of the
City of Medina for the 1996 calendar year, containing the following appropriations out
of the General Fund:
General Government $377,681
Public Safety $697,915
Public Works $297,879
Parks & Recreation $ 35,588
Capital Outlay $430,400
Miscellaneous $ 66,841
WHEREAS, the anticipated General Fund revenues for the 1996 calendar year,
including Homestead and Agricultural Credit Aid (HACA) and interfund transfers, is
$1,032,870; and
WHEREAS, a Truth in Taxation hearing was held on December 6, 1995 after
publication of notice of said hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Medina, County of Hennepin, Minnesota, that a property tax levy of $873,434 be levied
upon the taxable property in the City of Medina for taxes payable in 1996, and herein
be certified to the Hennepin County Auditor.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member
Ann Thies and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in
favorthereof: Ferris, Jim Johnson, Thies, Phil Zietlow and Mayor Anne Theis.
and the following voted against same: None.
and the following were absent: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
