AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI,AMENDING THE BUDGET
BY ESTABLISHING ROAD USE FEE FUND AND SOLID WASTE FUTURE PROJECTS
FUND ACCOUNTS.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSON, MISSOURI, AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Budget is hereby amended to establish the creation of the Road
Use Fee fund account number to be designated for purpose of creating a fund to be used
to repair streets and curbs. The Fund shall be appropriated only for the purposes set forth
in this ordinance. The Fund shall continue from year to year and any unappropriated
balance shall be retained in the fund. The Fund shall be funded solely from Road Use
Fees paid by contractors authorized to collect and dispose solid wastes within the City.
Section 2. The City Budget is hereby amended to establish the creation of the Solid
Waste Future Projects Fund account number to be designated, for purpose of creating a
fund to be used to fund the purchase of a solid waste transfer station, to expand an
existing landfill, to purchase or subsidize a new landfill, or for similar solid waste or
recycling projects. The Fund shall be appropriated only for the purposes set forth in this
ordinance. The Fund shall continue from year to year and any unappropriated balance
shall be retained in the fund.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after the date
