Work Session - Call to Order 6:15 PM
A. Roll Call
The City of Tiffin City Council held a work session Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at the City Hall Council
Chambers. Mayor Berner called the meeting to order at 6:16 PM. Upon roll being called the following
members were present: Jim Bartels, Eric Schnedler, Chris Olney and Skylar Limkemann and Al Havens.
Others present City Administrator Doug Boldt and City Clerk Abigail Hora.
B. Agenda Additions/Agenda Approval
Motion to approve agenda by Schnedler.
Second by Olney.
All ayes, agenda approved.
C. Discussion and Review of Fire Department Stipend Program
Discussion: Proposal presented from Mayor Berner and Council Person Limkemann.
D. Questions from Council Members regarding items on the Regular City Council Agenda

Motion to adjourn by Limkemann.

Chambers. Mayor Berner called the meeting to order at 7:03 PM. Upon roll being called the following
members were present: Jim Bartels, Eric Schnedler, Chris Olney, Skylar Limkemann and Al Havens. Others
present City Administrator Doug Boldt, City Clerk Abigail Hora and Building Official Brian Shay.

Motion to approve agenda by Bartels.
Second by Schnedler.
Motion to move G-1 to F-1.
Motion to approve as amended by Bartels.

by Schnedler.

3. Report Discussion: Public Works Director Brian Detert reports the

roundabout beautification has begun. Fountains will be raised on the 15. City Hall will be adding
some landscaping to avoid dead grass from the winter salt. Salt bin webbing is failing, and back
wall needs replaced.
4. Building Official Report Discussion: Building Official Brian Shay reports the sidewalk on
State Street was installed as well as the trail on Oakdale Boulevard.
5. s Report Discussion: Recreation Director Frank Haege has 12 sponsorships
for the ballfields, the signs should be in within the next two weeks. We have 140 total kids signed
up for softball and baseball.
