HomeMy Public PortalAbout1996-026Member Arun Thies introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 96-26 RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF FEASIBILITY REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT OF EVERGREEN ROAD WHEREAS, it is proposed to improvement Evergreen Road from Sioux Drive westward to Rolling Green Country Club by placement of stabilization fabric, drain tile and 12 inches of gravel base and 41/2 inches of bituminous surfacing 24 feet in width with gravel shoulders and to assess the benefitted properties for all or a port of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that the proposed improvements be referred to Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates as consulting city engineer for study and that they be instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended.
