HomeMy Public PortalAbout1996-027Member Ann _ Till P^S introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 96-27 RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY APPROVAL TO JOHN DAY FOR THE REPLAT OF LOTS 6, 7 AND 8 MEDINA INDUSTRIAL 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, John Day (the "Applicant") has requested approval to replat the property legally described as Lots 6, 7 and 8 Medina Industrial 2nd Addition, according to the plat thereof on file in Hennepin County, Minnesota; and WHEREAS, the planning commission reviewed the Applicant's preliminary plat for its conformance with the ordinance and requirements of the city and following a public hearing thereon held May 14, 1996, recommended granting preliminary approval to said plat. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that preliminary approval for the Applicant's plat is hereby granted, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The final plat must provide the drainage and utility easements required by the city engineer; 2. The Applicant must submit title evidence to the city attorney for his review in order to identify the necessary parties to sign the plat; 3. The final plat must be submitted to the zoning administrator within 180 days of the date of this resolution or an extension of such time must be granted by the city council prior to its expiration; and 4. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee in an amount necessary to reimburse the city for its expenses in reviewing this application. Dated: June 18 , 1996. Anne E.
