RESOLUTION NO. 14-8854
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO ALLOW THE OPA -LOCKA
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORP. TO HAVE A PAINTING
OF A MURAL INSTALLED ON A TEMPORARY BASIS ON A
BUILDING IN CONNECTION WITH ART EXHIBITION MONTH;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, in preparation for the upcoming Art Exhibition Month, the Opa -locka
Community Development Corp. anticipates the installation of a mural painting on one of the
buildings in the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa -locka desires to allow the
Community Development Corp. to temporarily install a mural on a building in the City of Opa-
locka.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa- locka, authorizes and approves
the Opa -locka Community Development Corp.'s. request for a painting of a mural to be installed on a
temporary basis, not to exceed 30 days, in connection with Art Exhibition Month.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
