RESOLUTION NO. 14 -8855
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO FREEZE THE
SALARY OF ALL THE DEPARTMENT HEADS
EMPLOYED WITH THE CITY OF OPA -LOCKA FOR A
PERIOD OF SIX (6) MONTHS, FOR THE PERIOD
BEGINNING OCOTOBER 2014 THROUGH MARCH
2015; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa -locka desires to freeze the
salary of all department heads for a period of six (6) months; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa -locka authorizes and
approves freezing the salary of all the department heads employed with the City of Opa-
locka for a period of six (6) months, except with prior approval of the City Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa- locka, authorizes and
approves freezing the salary of all the department heads, for a period of six (6) months,
beginning October 2014 through March 2015, except with prior approval of the City
Commission.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 8th day of October, 2014.
