COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
will hold a Regular Meeting
on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 4 : 45 p .m.
at The Brewster Town Office Building, 2198 Main Sheet, Brewster, MA
MEETING AGENDA
Recording or Taping Notification : "As required by the Open Meeting Law we are informing you that the Town
will be videotaping and/oto audio taping this public meeting. In addition, if anyone else intends to either video or audio
tape this meeting they are required to inform the chair. " We request that all cell phones be turned off or to vib4ate.
1 . Discussion and possible vote on application completeness , CPA eligibility, and timeliness of
the Town ' s $ 285 , 000 request to acquire 0 Millstone Road for community housing purposes .
2 . Discussion and possible vote to refer the Town' s Millstone Road acquisition request to the
Housing Committee for its review and recommendation.
3 . Discussion and possible vote, including conditions, on the Brewster Historical Society ' s
$ 176 , 000 historic preservation request to rehabilitate the Cobb House outbuilding .
4 . Acceptance of the Town Open Space Committee ' s open space acquisition funding request .
5 . Discussion and possible votes on conditional award letters to Community Development
Partnership , Brewster Housing Authority, and the Recreation Department for its Tennis Court
Rehabilitation and Athletic Field ADA Improvement requests .
6 . Report on the Supreme Judicial Court ' s decision regarding the Acton CPA awards to the
Acton Congregational Church.
7 . Vote to approve minutes of the February 14 , 2018 and February 28 , 2018 meetings .
8 . Items that the chair could not reasonably anticipate .
9 . Next meeting : Wednesday, March 28 , 2018 @ 4 : 45 p .m . at Town Hall .
10 . Executive Session in accordance with MGL Chapter 39 , Section 23B (6) to consider the
purchase, taking, lease , or value of real property if such discussion may have a detrimental
effect on the negotiating position of the governmental body .
