Home My Public Portal About14-8866 Pay Nortrax/John Deere DealerSponsored by: City Manager RESOLUTION NO. 14 -8866 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO PAY NORTRAX, AN AUTHORIZED JOHN DEERE DEALER, FOR REPAIRS TO THE CITY'S BACKHOE EQUIPMENT, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED EIGHT THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY - TWO DOLLARS AND NINETY -THREE CENTS ($8,182.93), PAYABLE AND EQUALLY SHARED FROM ACCOUNT NUMBERS 41- 541467, 64- 533467 AND 43- 538467, A BUDGETED ITEM; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the City of Opa -locka received a unit estimate repair from Nortrax for repairs to the backhoe equipment; and WHEREAS, the cost includes diagnostics and troubleshooting (previously done), replacement of drive shaft, replacement of hydraulic pump and replacement door shock; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa -locka desires satisfy payment for the backhoe repair by authorizing the City Manager to pay Nortrax, an authorized John Deere dealer, for equipment repair. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference. Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa -locka hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to pay Nortrax, an authorized John Deere dealer, for repairs Resolution No. 14 -8866 to the City's backhoe equipment, in an amount not to exceed Eight Thousand One Hundred Eighty -Two Dollars and Ninety -Three Cents ($8,182.93), payable and equally shared from Account Numbers 41- 541467, 64- 533467 and 43- 538467, a budgeted items.
