Home My Public Portal About14-8869 Vac TruckSponsored by: City Manager RESOLUTION NO. 14 -8869 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA, TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO PAY HYDRAULIC SALES & SERVICES, INC., FOR REPAIRS TO THE CITY'S VAC TRUCK, VEHICLE #54466 (TAG #135459), IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED SEVEN THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED NINETY -THREE DOLLARS AND SIXTY EIGHT CENTS ($7,393.68), PAYABLE FROM ACCOUNT NUMBER 43- 538467, A BUDGETED ITEM; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE WHEREAS, the Public Works and Utility Department Vac Truck machine is a vital piece of equipment for the City of Opa- locka; and WHEREAS, because of equipment damage, emergency repairs are needed for the Vac Truck, Vehicle #54466 (Tag #135459); and WHEREAS, Hydraulic Sales & Services, Inc. performed maintenance on Vehicle #54466 (Tag #135459); and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa -locka authorized the City Manager to pay Hydraulic Sales & Services, Inc., for providing repair services to The Vac Truck, Vehicle #54466 (Tag #135459), in an amount not to exceed Seven Thousand Three Hundred Ninety -Three Dollars and Sixty Eight Cents ($7,393.68). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference. Resolution No. 14 -8869 Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa -locka hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to pay Hydraulic Sales & Services, Inc., for repairs to the City's Vac Truck, Vehicle #54466 (Tag #135459), in an amount not to exceed Seven Thousand Three Hundred Ninety -Three Dollars and Sixty Eight Cents ($7,393.68), payable from Account Number 43- 538467, a budgeted item.
