RESOLUTION NO.96 - 44
RESOLUTION GRANTING AN AMENDED CONDITIONAL
USE PERMIT TO JOHN DAY
WHEREAS, John Day (the "Applicant") obtained a conditional use permit for Lots 7 and 8,
Block 2, Medina Industrial 2nd Addition in 1988 pursuant to Resolution No. 88-89; and
WHEREAS, the Applicant has received permission to replat the property subject to the
previous conditional use permit by combining it with Lot 6, Block 2, Medina Industrial 2nd Addition;
and
WHEREAS, the Applicant wishes to construct an addition to the existing building upon the
combined and replatted property, which will consist of a 95 foot by 52 foot addition; and
WHEREAS, this matter was approved by the planning commission at its meeting on May 14,
1996; and
WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed by the city council at its meeting on June 4, 1996; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the proposed building addition to be constructed on
the combined and replatted property will not impede the orderly development of adjacent parcels.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota that Conditional Use Permit No. 88-89 is hereby revoked and a new conditional use permit
is granted to Applicant for the stated purpose, subject to the following terms and conditions:
1. This new conditional use permit shall apply to Lots 6, 7 and 8, Block 2, Medina
Industrial 2nd Addition;
1. There shall be no exterior storage on the property;
