ORDINANCE NO. 1-64
AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE LIMITS OF MOAB CITY
WHEREAS, on the Zlst day of January, - A. , D. , 1964. there wan filed with
the City, Recorder of Moab City, Grand County, State of Utah, a Petition signed by
Charles A. Steen and Minnie Lee Steen. husband aid wife; William R. McCormick
and Emma .McCormick, husband and wife. Mitchell,).telich and Doris ,Melich, hus•-
band and wife. Maxine S. Boyd. a•vtoman in her own right and First Security Bank
of Utah, N.A. as Trustee under a -Trust for the benefit of four minor children of
Charles A. Steen, being all of the owners of the real property situated in the tract
herein described, requesting that said tract of lind be taken within the limits of
Moab City, and also caused an accurate map, or plat, to be made and certified•to`
by a competent surveyor and approved by the City Engineer to be filed with the
• County Recorder: and.
WHEREAS, the said tract of land is contiguous to Moab City, and there'
is no proper reason why it,should not beloinexed to and made a part of said City
and.
WHEREAS, the City Council of Moab City, after examining said Petition
of. said Owners of said tract of land, and considering the circumstances thereat',
Voted by unanimous vote of all members of said Council in favor of anneiting said
tract of land to Moab City and directed that an Ordinance should be passed atume-
ins said territory, and the, extension of the City Limits of Moab City accordingly..'
NOW, THERSFORE. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of Moab City,
Utah: j
•. 1. That the City Limits of Moab City be. and the same are, hereby
etctendeditad enlarged so as to include the following described tract of Isard in
Grand CiAuxty, State of Utak, As -wit:

36, Township Z5 South, Range 21 East, Salt. Lake
Meridian.
