McKinney An_AL Grand County Recorder RESOLUTION DECLARING THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF MOAB: WHEREAS, a majority of the owners of real property and owners of not less than one-third in value of the real property as shown on the last assessment rolls in territory lying contiguous to the City of Moab have petitioned the City of Moab for annexation; and, WHEREAS, the petition was accompanied by an accurate plat or map of the territory to be annexed prepared under the supervision of the City Engineer or a competent surveyor and certified by the engineer or surveyor; and WHEREAS, the petition and plat or map have been filed in the office of the municipal recorder, NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE City Council of Moab City: Section 1. Territory Annexed. The territory described below is hereby declared annexed to the City of Moab: Description of a tract of land in Grand County, Utah: Beginning at a point 2578' North and 808.5' East of the SW Corner, Section 7, T 26 S, R 22 E, S.L.B. & M. and running thence N 89°14' W 388.3 ft. along a fence line on the North side of Bittle Lane to a corner, thence N 789.3 ft. to a corner, Thence S 88°31' E 439.8 ft. to a corner, thence S 3°46' E 343.7 ft., thence S 2°52' E 444.2 ft., thence N 89°14' W 96.2 ft. to the point of beginning. Also including the piece beginning at a point 2589 ft. North of the SW corner, Section 7, T 26 S, R 22 E, S.L.B.& M. running thence N 794.8 ft. to a corner, thence East along a fence line 420.5 ft. to a corner, thence South 789.3 ft. to a corner thence N 89°14' W 420.4 ft. along a fence line on the North side of Bittle Lane to the point of beginning. effect Bearings are from the West line, Section 7 (north). Section 2. Effective Date. This resolution shall take immediately. Passed by unanimous vote of the Moab City Council this 21st day of November, 1978.
