RESOLUTION NO. 14 -8875
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO PROVIDE A
HOLIDAY SEASON BONUS OF FIVE HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($500) TO ALL EMPLOYEES AT THE CITY;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission recognizes that the employees of the City
have consistently shown their loyalty and dedication to help make Opa -locka a City all
residents can take pride in; and
WHEREAS, in order to show the City Commission's gratitude to all the hard
work and efforts of the City's employees, the City Commission wishes to provide a
bonus to all employees of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa -locka hereby authorizes
and directs the City Manager to issue a Five Hundred Dollar ($500) bonus to all
employees of the City of Opa- locka.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 10th day of December, 2014.
