HomeMy Public PortalAbout1996-052Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 96-52 RESOLUTION GRANTING AN AMENDED PERMIT TO THE MINNEHAHA CREEK WATERSHED DISTRICT WHEREAS, on January 2, 1996 the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota (the "City") adopted Resolution No. 96-1 (the "Enabling Resolution") granting a permit to the Minnehaha Creek Watershed District (the "MCWD"); and WHEREAS, paragraph 2 of the Enabling Resolution required that a gate consisting of posts and cables be constructed at the intersection of the access road and Deer Hill Road; and WHEREAS, the MCWD has requested permission to substitute a large wooden pole placed at an angle for the post and cables; and WHEREAS, the city council reviewed this matter at its meeting on September 3, 1996 and agreed to such modification. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota that: 1. The Enabling Resolution is hereby amended to allow the MCWD to block the intersection of Deer Hill Road and the access road on the Wahlfor's property with a large pole placed at an angle. 2. All other terms and conditions of the Enabling Resolution are hereby reaffirmed. Dated: October 15, 1996 L�-e Ann C.
