SUBJECT: ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. 15 -5117 IMPLEMENTING A 2%
SALARY ADJUSTMENT FOR UNREPRESENTED FULL TIME
CLASSIFICATIONS
RECOMMENDATION:
It is recommended the City Council adopt Resolution No . 15-5 1 17 (Attachment "A"),
imp lementing a 2% salary adjustment for unrepresented full time classifications , effective
with the pa~ period ending September 4, 2015 .
BACKGROUND:
On June 16 , 2015 , the City Council adopted the Fiscal Year (FY ) 2015-16 City Budget
which included funding for sa lary adjustments for unrepresented full time classifications .
ANALYSIS:
Salary adjustments for FY 2015-16 for e mployees represented by TCEA were addressed
with the adoption of Resolution 15-5067 approving an MOU . It is recommended the City
Council consider authorizing a 2% salary adjustment for unrepresented full time
classification.
The unrepresented full time c lassifications are :
Administrative Services Dire ctor
Assistant to the City Manager/Economic Developm ent Director
C ity Clerk
Community Development Director
City Council

CONCLUSION:
In order to adjust the salaries of the unrepresented full time classifications , a resolution
revising the salary ranges must be adopted .
FISCAL IMPACT:
The adopted FY 2015 -16 City Budget in cludes an allocation to fund the salary
adjustments.

WHEREAS , on Ju ne 16, 2016 , the City Counci l adopted the FY 2015-16 City Budget which
tncluded fundtng for a sala ry adjustment for unrep resented classifications .
NOW THEREFORE , THE CITY COU NCI L OF T HE CITY O F TEMPL E CITY DOES HEREBY
RESO LVE , DETER MINE A ND ORDER AS FO LLOWS:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby a pproves salary ran ges for full time classifications (Exhibit
"1") im plementing a 2% sa lary adjustment for unrepresented full time classifications , effective w ith the pay
period ending Septem ber 4, 2015; and
SECTION 2. The Ci ty Clerk sha ll certify to the adoption of this Resolution .
