CO NS ENT CALENDAR The Commissio n approved t he m inu tes f rom t heir regular meeti ng of August 11 , 2015. City Council September 1, 2015 Page 2 of 3 3 . PUBLIC HEARING A. A REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ESTABLISH A 2 ,600 SQUARE FOOT DRINK AND FOOD ESTABLISHMENT IN THE CAMELLIA SQUARE SHOPPING CENTER LOCATED AT 5728 ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD , UNIT 107 The Commission approved a conditional use permit for a food and drink establishment, Simmer Huang located in a 2 ,600 square foot unit in Building 2 of the Camellia Square located at 5728 Rosemead Boulevard , unit 107 . No consumption of alcoholic beverages was proposed for the business . The hours of operation are from 11 :00 a .m . to 11:00 p .m., seven days a week. The seating capacity is 88 seats. The property is located in the C-2 , General Commercial zone and is designated as Commercial by the C ity's General Plan . B . A REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ESTABLISH A 7 ,110 SQUARE FOOT DRINK AND FOOD ESTABLISHMENT IN THE CAMELLIA SQUARE SHOPPING CENTER LOCATED AT 9055 LAS TUNAS DRIVE , UNIT 105 The Commission approved a conditional use permit for a food and drink establishment, Bistro Na's in 7 ,110 square foot unit in Bu ilding 1 of the Camellia Square located at 9055 Las Tunas Drive , unit 105. Bistro Na 's also serves beer and wine incidentally. The hours of operation are from 11 :00 a .m . to 11 :00 p .m . seven days a week . The seating capacity is 177 seats ; no outside dining was requested . The property is lo c ated in the C-2 , General Commercial zone and is designated as Commercia l by the City's General Plan . C . A REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ESTABLISH A 1,490 SQUARE FOOT DRINK AND FOOD ESTABLISHMENT IN THE CAMELLIA SQUARE SHOPPING CENTER. LOCATED AT 5728 ROSEMEAD BOULEVARD , UNIT 102 The Commission continued to September 22 , 2015 , a request for a cond itional use permit to allow a food and drink establishment, Pokel icious in a 1,490 square foot unit in Building 2 of the Camellia Square located at 5728 Rosemead Boulevard , unit 102 , as the applicant was not present. The property is located in the C-2 , General Commercial zone and is des ignated as Commercial by the City's General Plan . 4 . UNFINISHED BUSINESS-None 5 . UPDATE FROM THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR Community Development Director Forbes announced the following : the Planning Commiss ion meeting scheduled for September 8 , 2015 , has been cancelled , a dedication ceremony will take place in the City Hall parking lot for the mural located at the Temple City Library August 26, 2015 , at 6 :30 p.m ., and Assembly member Ed Chau will host a water information forum August 29 , 2015 , from 10 a .m . to noon in the Council Chambers . 8 . ADJOURNMENT The Commission meeting was adjourned at 8 :01 p.m. CONCLUSION: The City Council is requested to receive and file this report. FISCAL IMPACT: Th is item does not have an impact on the Fiscal Year 2015-16 C ity Budget.
