HomeMy Public PortalAbout1996-062Member Thies introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 96-62 RESOLUTION THANKING ELECTION JUDGES FOR A JOB WELL DONE WHEREAS, Medina residents served as election judges for both the 1996 Primary and General elections, and; WHEREAS, at these elections the election judges performed their duties with skill, patience, enthusiasm, and diligence, and; WHEREAS, the City Staff appreciated their cooperation and team effort, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Medina City Council thanks the election judges of 1996 for their participation and involvement in the community and would like to extend to them an invitation to come back for the elections in the future. Theis, Mayor ATTEST: Paul Robinson, Clerk -Treasurer The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Johnson and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Johnson, Ferris, Mayor Theis, and Thies and the following voted against same: None. Absent: Zietlow Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
