RESOLUTION NO. 14 -8891
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE A REQUEST FOR
PROPOSAL (RFP) FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF CITY
MEDIANS; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF
RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the maintenance of city medians are vital to the health, safety and
welfare of the citizens of the City of Opa- locka; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa -locka wishes to issue
Request for Proposal for qualified contractors to provide median and maintenance
services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa- locka, hereby directs the
City Manager to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the maintenance of medians
located along the following streets of the City: : 22nd Avenue, 27`h Avenue, Sharazad
Blvd., and President Barack Obama Avenue, a/k/a Perviz Avenue.
Section 3. The maintenance services to be provided shall commence upon the
expiration of any maintenance agreements currently in effect.

Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
