April 7 1941
Regular Metting of the Council.
Mayor Ross presiding and all councilmen present. -
Minutes of all March meetings were read and on motion by Kruse
second by Lune, same be approved as read, Motion carried.
Treasurers retort was received, read and placed on file. -
It was moved by Kruse seconded by Luwe, that Albert W M:yer be
appointed Weed Commissioner for the ensueing year. Carried.
It was moved by Okones second by Kruse that the following
Oiling Resolution_ be adopted. -

Mayor declared Resolution adopted.
The following bilss were read, and on motion by Okones, second

Council convened as a board of Health. all. members present.
It was moved by Luse seconded by Kruse the the council adopt
all the rules and regulations of the state Board. of health and abide
thereby. Motion carried.
Payor Ross appointed. Dr F R Ford - Health Physician for the
wnsuting• year/ -
There being no further business council adjourn

Council convened as a Board. of Review.
All —council —men present, - Neil Okones was chosen Chairman
9nd the Town Clerk was secretary of the meeting.
The Assessor's H G Geerd.es books were canvassed, and all.
assessments properly considered with the Assessor and gone over
carefully, - after consideable assessments having been passed,
it was moved to adjourn to April 8th at 7:30 Oclock P.M.
April 8th 1941
Board of review mart in adjourned session, again the Assessors books
were canvassed further and assessments duly considered,
After all assessments were duly considered, it was moved by Luwe
seconded by Kruse that the assessment as made by, and shown by
the Assessor's books be approved, Motion carried.
On motion council adjourned,

May 5th 1941.
Regular Meeting of the Town Council;-
Ilayor Ross- Absent -
Councilmen all present, On motion Neil Okones was appointed
Chairman, motion carried.
Council was called to order and the minutes of all meetings
In April were read and on motion by Kruse, second by Luwe that the
minutes stand approved as read, Motion Carried.
It was moved by Luwe second by Lindaman that the Water Tower
and Tank be painted, motion carried.
It was moved by Kruse second_ by Haack that the Water Tower &
Paint and Repa it Co of LaPorte City, be given the contract to
paint the Tower and Tank for the sum of $397.00 , motion carried.
The Clerk was directed to notify the Iowa Road Building Co
that the council want the Oiling; of Streets to begin on June 2nd.
Traasvrers report was receive, read and oreded placed on
file.
The Bonds of Mayor Ross, Ulerk G H Geerdes, Marshall Otta
Taaden were approved.
