CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.97-17
RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC
HEARING ON CSAH #101 WATER MAIN IMPROVEMENT
WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the city construct water main improvements generally
in the northwest quadrant of the intersection of T.H. 55 and CSAH 101.
follows:
NOW, 'THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of Medina, Mnnesota, as
1. The proposed improvement shall be referred to Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik &
Associates as consulting engineers for study and they are hereby instructed to report to
the city council with all convenient speed advising the city council in a preliminary way
as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be
made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated
cost of the improvement as recommended.
2. After acceptance of the feasibility report, the council will consider making the
improvement in accordance with the report and assessing benefitted property for all or
a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 14 day of July,
1997, in the council chambers of the city hall at 8:00 p.m. and the clerk -treasurer shall
give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Thies and upon
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof
Ferris, Hamilton, Johnson, Thies and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
