8:25 p.m. 8. Human Resources’ Director Report
The Human Resources Director took the opportunity to update the Personnel Committee on a possible RFP
for HR/Payroll Software and the Benefits Broker Update. While no formal vote was taken, the Personnel
Committee thought it would be best to resume the discussion regarding the Town adopting Section 18 until
the October 6th meeting. During the discussion of the Police Chief Hiring Process, the committee
suggested that a member of Personnel Committee be on the interview panel. The Fire Department
Promotional Process was discussed and the Human Resources Director offered to provide more
information after the union had been met with.
