7:10 p.m. 2. Discuss Land Use Department Consolidation and formalize services for displaced employees.
7:40 p.m. 3. Discuss Title Change and Reclassification of Planning Director to Director
of Land Use, Planning and Permitting.
8:15 p.m. 4.. Vote of Title Change and Reclassification of Planning Director to Director of
(Action Item) Land Use, Planning and Permitting.

8:20 p.m. 5. Discuss moving the Personnel Bylaws out of the Bylaws to an Employee
Handbook format. –Tabled to November 23, 2009 meeting
8:50 p.m. 6. Human Resources’ Director Report
a. Update on Fire Recruitment: The Human Resources Director informed the Board that an
outside firm would be providing the department with an exercise and an oral interview. Ezat
Parnia had volunteered to be on the interviewing committee.
