CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.97-26
RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL TO
EDMUND LUNDGREN AND DAWN LUNDGREN
WHEREAS, Edmund Lundgren and Dawn Lundgren (the "Applicants") are the owners of
property legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto, the ("Subject Property"); and
WHEREAS, the Applicants wish to plat the Subject Property into two lots; and
WHEREAS, on June 10, 1997 the planning commission and on July 1, 1997 the city council
reviewed the preliminary plat for its conformance with the ordinances and requirements of the city.
NOW,1'HEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota that preliminary approval be granted to the Applicants for the plat of the Subject Property,
subject to the following conditions:
1. The Applicants must record an easement for driveway purposes 50 feet in width over
proposed Lot 2 for the benefit of proposed Lot 1 prior to conveyance of either lot;
2. The city must approve the location of the driveway within the easement prior to
issuance of a building permit for proposed Lot 1;
3. The final plat must provide for all drainage, utility and wetlands easements required by
the city engineer;
4. Appropriate public bodies must be notified prior to construction of the driveway if the
driveway will affect any wetlands;
5. The Applicants must pay a park dedication fee for proposed Lot 1 in the amount
required by the city;
6. The primary and alternate septic sites on proposed Lot 1 must be located, staked and
protected during construction;
7. The final plat must dedicate additional right-of-way for Medina Road as required by the
city engineer;
8. The final plat must be in conformance with the preliminary plat, except as required by
this resolution;
9. The final plat must be submitted to the zoning administrator within 180 days of the date

of the approval of this resolution or an extension of such time must be granted by the city council prior
to its expiration; and
10. The Applicants must pay to the city an administrative fee an amount necessary to
reimburse the city for its expenses in reviewing this application.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Hamilton and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof
Ferris, Hamilton, Johnson, and Thies
and the following voted against same: None Absent: Zietlow
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
