CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 97-27
RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL TO SCOTT BAKER FOR
SCOTT BAKER ASSOCIATES ADDITION
WHEREAS, Scott Baker (the "Applicant") is the owner of property legally described on
Exhibit A attached hereto (the "Subject Property"); and
WHEREAS, the Applicant wishes to plat the Subject Property as Lot 1, Block 1 and Outlots
A and B, Baker Associates Addition; and
WHEREAS, on June 10, 1997 the planning commission and on July 1, 1997 the city council
reviewed the plat for its conformance with the ordinances and requirements of the city.
NOW, 'THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota that final approval be granted to the Applicant for the plat of Scott Baker Associates
Addition, subject to the following conditions:
1. The Applicant must convey Outlot A to the owner of the adjacent Dairy Queen
property and Outlot B to the owner of the adjacent Holiday property;
2. The final plat must be recorded with Hennepin County within 60 days of the date of the
approval of this resolution. If the final plat is not recorded within said period of time, the approval
hereby granted shall be null and void; and
3. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee an amount necessary to
reimburse the city for its expenses in reviewing this application.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Hamilton and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:

Principal Meridian, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the West line of said Northwest Quarter distant 587.4 feet South of the
Northwest corner thereof, thence South along said West line to the Northerly right-of-way line of the
Great Northern Railway Company; thence Southeasterly along said Northerly right-of-way line a
distance of 1359.2 feet; thence North parallel with said West line to an intersection with a line drawn
East from the point of beginning parallel with the North line of said Northwest Quarter; thence West to

thence Northwesterly along said Northerly right-of-way line to said West line of the Northwest

angle to said "Line A," from the point of beginning; thence East along said right angle line to the point
of beginning, according to the United States Government Survey thereof and situate in Hennepin
County, Minnesota.
