Vote to proclaim as Honorary Hopkinton Citizens to Kenyan Boston Marathon Runners, Evans Cheruiyot, Daniel Rono, Benjamin Maiyo, Robert KpikoechCheruiyot, Robert Kiprono, Stephen Kiogora, Timothy Cherigat, Elijah Sang. 6:50 p.m. 7. Vote to accept a gift of $68,000 from the Boston Athletic Associationrepresenting the BAA’s contribution to the Town of Hopkinton , in the Town’s efforts relative to the upcoming 113th Boston Marathon. 6:53 p.m. 8. Vote to accept gifts into the Ambulance Gift Account in memory of Jack Morrissey from Jane Dunphy for $50; Paul M. Phipps Insurance Agency, Inc. for $50; andHelen O’Brien for $25. Vote to accept a gift into the Ambulance gift account for the purpose ofHappy Easter and Marathon Days from Flora Busconi for $10. 6:54 p.m. 9. Vote to amend a road race permit issued for Max Performance’s Triathlonevent scheduled May 10. 6:55 p.m. 10. Vote to approve a parade permit, scheduled on Saturday, June 20, 2009 from8 a.m. to 1 p.m., to the Hopkinton Running Club and the Sharon Timlin Memorial Race Committee for the Sixth Annual Sharon Timlin Memorial 5K Race/Family Fun Day to CureALS. 6:56 p.m. 11. Vote to submit Public Safety Vehicles Article for the Special Town MeetingWarrant. Stand for the Pledge of Allegiance: This portion of the meeting is televisedlive through HCAM. Announce last day to register to vote is this day at 8 p.m. at the Town Clerk’s Office. 7:05 p.m. 13. Public Forum segment for residents to voice their opinions, ideas, or ask any questions that they might have regarding Town Government. Residents will beallowed two minutes to voice their comments. 7:10 p.m. 14. Board of Selectmen review of warrant articles to consider recommendationsfor the Town Meeting and Special Town Meeting article discussion. 7:45 p.m. 15. Vote to open a public hearing for the Board of Selectmen to consider aproposed street acceptance article for the 2009 May Annual Town Meeting. The streets are Sadie Lane from Smith Road to Bowker Road; Bowker Road from Connelly Hill Road to adead end road; Overlook Road from Cedar Street Extension to Greenwood Road; Summit Way from Overlook Road to a dead end road. 8:00 p.m. 16. Vote to open the Public Hearing to Transfer the License and Change of Manager for P. & L. Inc., DBA, and Dynasty Restaurant located at 77 West Main Street . 8:15 p.m. 17. Vote to open the Public Hearing to alter the premises of P & L Inc., DBA, Dynasty Restaurant located at 77 West Main Street . A floor plan was included with theapplication. 8:30 p.m. 18. Vote to enter into a contract with the Massachusetts Health and EducationFacility Authority (HEFA) for the supply of natural gas. The contract is to start with the next billing cycle. 8:35 p.m. 19. Mr. James Merloni, Jr., Administrator of the New England Laborer’s Training Trust Fund, will present a gift of $15,200 for the Town to purchase amotorized all terrain vehicle for the Fire Department. 8:40 p.m. 20. Recycling Committee Interview (one vacancy; term expires 2009): JackiePotenzone 8:45 p.m. 21. Readout Mail: 1) Hopkinton Athletic Association letter about the George V.Brown Commemorative Sculpture; 2) Open Space Preservation Commission meeting, Wednesday, April 15 at 7:30 p.m. in Room 211 to discuss the Whitehall ConservationRestriction; 3) Home Energy Seminar hosted by the Massachusetts Municipal Association, 8:50 p.m. 22.
