RESOLUTION NO. 15 -8932
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
DEVELOP A SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM AND
CREATE AN AGREEMENT TO OPERATE
TELEVISION AND RADIO PROGRAMS IN THE
CITY OF OPA- LOCKA; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa -locka desires to have a
public television and radio station in the Great City of Opa- locka; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to authorize the City Manager to
develop public television and radio programs in the City of Opa- locka, and to find
sponsors for the program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble hereby incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa -locka hereby authorizes the
City Manager to develop a sponsorship program and create agreements for sponsorship of
public television and radio programs within the City of Opa- locka.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 11th day of February, 2015.
