RESOLUTION NO. 15-8936
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THAT ALL CITY EMPLOYEES, MAKING $25,000.00 OR
MORE, TAKE A ONE (1) DAY FURLOUGH BEFORE
MARCH 31, 2015; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION
OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, due to the unbudgeted expenses, the City Commission desires to keep
expenses at a minimum by directing all City employees, making $25,000.00 or more, to take a
one (1) day furlough; and
WHEREAS, the one (1) day furlough must be taken before March 31, 2015; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa- locka, approves that all City
employees shall take a one (1) day furlough.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa- locka, directs and authorizes that
all City employess, making $25,000.00 or more, take a one (1) day furlough before March 31,
2015.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
