RESOLUTION NO. 15 -8937
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA
AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A REQUEST FOR
PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR A CITY ATTORNEY FIRM FOR THE
CITY OF OPA -LOCKA (GREENSPOON MARDER WILL
CONTINUE TO SERVE AS CITY ATTORNEY DURING THE RFP
PROCESS AND UP UNTIL A FINAL SELECTION IS MADE);
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa -locka desires to issue a Request for
Proposals for a City Attorney Firm to provide services to the City of Opa- locka; and
WHEREAS, the City will continue the services of Greenspoon Marder to serve as City
attorney during the RFP process and up until final selection is made; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa -locka desires to authorize the City
Manager to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for a City Attorney Firm.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa -locka authorizes and directs the
City Manager to issue an RFP for a City Attorney Firm, for the City of Opa- locks, and
authorizes the City Clerk to advertise and issue a RFP for a qualified City Attorney Firm.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
