RESOLUTION NO. 15 -8938
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA, TERMINATING JOSEPH
S. GELLER AND GREENSPOON MARDER P.A. AS THE
CITY ATTORNEY FOR THE CITY OF OPA LOCKA
EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY UPON THE APPOINTMENT
OF A NEW CITY ATTORNEY; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE
WHEREAS, the City of Opa -locka ( "City ") hired Joseph S. Geller, Esq. and Greenspoon
Marder, P.A., as the City Attorney and they currently serve under an at will agreement; and
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to terminate their employment with the City;
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Opa -locka desires to make the
termination effective upon the appointment of a new City Attorney; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa -locka hereby terminates the
services of Joseph S. Geller, Esq. and Greenspoon Marder, P.A., effective immediately
upon the appointment of a new City Attorney.
Section 3. The City Manager is further authorized to take all necessary and
expedient action to effectuate the intent of this Resolution.

Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
