RESOLUTION NO. 1-2011
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF SANITARY COMMISSIONERS TO EXECUTE CERTAIN CONTRACTS ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD
WHEREAS, The Board of Sanitary Commissioners of the Richmond Sanitary District (“Board”) has the power, pursuant to Section 31.03 of the Richmond Code of Revised Ordinances and Indiana
Code 36-9-25-10, to enter into contracts in the name of the municipality of the City of Richmond, with the approval of its executive; and
WHEREAS, The Board consists of three members, pursuant to law; and
WHEREAS, The Board finds it is in the best interests of the efficiency of the daily operations of the contractual business of the Richmond Sanitary District business to authorize its
President to execute, on its behalf, certain contracts which have been duly approved by vote of the Board at its regular or special meetings.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Sanitary Commissioners of the Sanitary District of Richmond, Indiana, that said Board authorizes the execution of any or all contracts duly
approved by vote of the Board not exceeding an award amount of Eighty Thousand Dollars ($80,000.00) by its President, on its behalf, without necessity of execution by other Board members,
but subject to approval by the City executive as required by law.
