RESOLUTION N0, 71-2
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABATE DRY AND
DRYING WEEDS ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND
IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
WHEREAS, Chapter 13 of the Government Code, cited as
"Weed and Rubbish Abatement," provides for abatement o£ dry and
drying weeds that constitute a public nuisance, and
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
City Council of the City o£ Lynwood by the Superintendent of
Streets that there exists a public nuisance on certain parcels
o£ land in the City of Lynwood, as hereinafter more particularly
described;
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the Cify of Lynwood, as follows:
1, That a public nuisance exists upon the parcels
of land, lots, or portions of lots set forfh below:
Belle Vernon Acres; Lot 27, Block 14; Lots 21
and 24 of Block 15 and Block 17.
Mod�jeslca Acres; Lots 6, 9, 25, 26, and 64.

2, The Superintendent:of Streets is hereby directed
to cause said notices to be posted in the time, form, and manner
required by law.
3, That the procc-edings for aforesa.id worli shall be
taken under an Act of the Legislature of the State of CaliPortiia
designated a.s the Government Code, Chapter 13, Section 395Q�, �t
aeq., cited as'ldeed and Rubbish Abatement," and amendraents thereto.
1�, Notice is hereby given that on the 2nd day of
Februar�, 1971, Tuesda.,y, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Council
ChamUers, City Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, in the City o£ Lynwood,
any and all persons having any objections or protests to said
proposed work may appear before said City C�uncil and show cause
why said proposed work should not be carried out in accordance
with said Act.
