� A RESOLUTION PASSING UPON OBJECTIONS AND
DIRECTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS
, TO ABATE THE NUISANCE OF DRY AND DRYING
� � WEEDS THAT EXIST ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF �
LAND IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD. •.
, WHEREAS; the City Council of the C3ty of Lyniaood, .,
California, did on_the 5th day of January, 1971, ad�pt Resolution •
No. 71-2 relating to the a,batement of dry and drying weeds on..
certain parcels of land in the �ity of Lynwoocl, and ,
'� WHEREAS,�due notice was given to destroy auch weeds
by posting "Notice to.Destroy weeds" notices, as required by law,
� and , . . . •, �
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for the hearing of
protests and ob�jections to said'matter, a hearing was duly held
and rio written or oral objections were made to the doing of said
work, and �
WHEREAS,'the City Council,of the City of Lynwood has
considered all the facts and is fully informed in the matter, �
. and they ha.ve acquired jurisdiction to proceed and perform the
work or removal of said nuisance. � -
NOW, THEREFORE, EE IT RES,OLVED that the'Superintendent
of Streets of the City of Lynwood be and he is hereby instructed
' to abate the nuisance described in said Resolution No. 71-2 by
.. � having said nuisances referred to removed, and he and his assistants
are he�eby expressly authorized to enter upon private property .
, for that purpose. ,
EE IT FURTHER RESOLVED.that any property owners shall ' _
have the�right to have any such nuisance removed and abated at ,
hie own expense, provided such work is done prior to the time
" the work�•is done by �the Superintendent of Streets. If the work
'is;.done by th'e� property �ner, no charge shall be made by the
