HomeMy Public PortalAbout1997-055Member Ferris introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.97-55 RESOLUTION GRANTING A LAND ALTERATION PERMIT FOR THE MEDINA MORNINGSIDE DITCH PROJECT WHEREAS, the city of Medina (the "City") intends to conduct a ditch improvement project on property owned by Daniel and Wanda Roach, which property is legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto (the 'Roach Property"); and WHEREAS, in order to accomplish the ditch project, the City intends to excavate fill from adjacent property owned by Paja, Inc., which land is legally descried on Exhibit B attached hereto (the "Keller Property"); and WHEREAS, the ditch project is expected to involve excavating, moving and depositing approximately 4000 cubic yards of fill; and WHEREAS, the plans and specifications for the project have been prepared by the staff and reviewed by the city council in connection with other matters involving the parties; and WHEREAS, section 828.17 of the Medina code of ordinances requires the issuance of a land alteration permit by the city council under the circumstances. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, that a land alteration permit be granted to the city of Medina for the above purposes.
