2 RESOLUTION OF ORDER OF VACATION BY CITY
3 COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD OF PORTIONS OF
4 STREETS DESCRIBED THEREIN.

s WHEREAS THE City Council of the City of Lynwood did
7 on May 4, 1971, adopt Resolution No. 71-27 declaring its
8 intention to vacate portions of streets described in Section 1
9 hereof, and
10 WHEREAS, notices of said vacation were published and
11 posted in the time, form, and manner required by law, and
12 WHEREAS, no protests were made at said hearing to said
13 proposed vacation of said streets,
14 N064, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
15 the City of Lynwood, as follows:
16 Section 1. That the portions of streets located in the
17 City of Lynwood and described in the exhibit attached hereto,
18 made a part hereof as though fully set forth at this place and
19 marked exhibit "'A" are unnecessary for prospective public use,
20 and it hereby ordered that, subject to Lynwood Investment
21 Company, a corporation or Montgomery Ward Development Corporation,
22 a corporation, having first acquired title to all of the lots or
23 parcels of land adjacent thereto, and subject to the reservation
?A by the City of Lynwood of all of the existing public utility
25 easements in, upon, along, across and beneath the portions of
26 streets described in exhibit "A," including but not limited to
27 lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires, poles and other convenient
28 structures, equipment and fixtures for the operation of pipe lines,
29 t:elegraphic and telephone lines, and for the transportation or
30 distribution of electric energy, water and incidental purpose�
31 sewer lines and other convenient structures, equipment and
32 structures for the operation of sewer pipe linesand that the

1 portions of streets in the City of Lynwood, California, described
2 in Exhibit "A" be vacated and abandoned.
3 Section 2 . The City of Lynwood reserves all existing
4 public utility easements in, upon, along, across and beneath the
5 portions o£ streets described in Exhibit "A," including but not
6 limites to lines of pipe, conduits, cables, wires, poles and other
7 convenient structures, equipment and fixtures for the operation
8 of pipe lines, telegraphic and telephone lines, and for the
9 transportation or distribution of electric energy, water and
10 incidental purposes, sewers lines and other convenient structures,
11 equipment and structures for the operation of sewer pipe lines and
12 the within proceedings for vacation of portions of streets
13 described in Exhibit °A" are taken subjeet to such reservations
14 and exceptions.
15 Section 3 . That the City Clerk shall cause a certified
16 copy of said order to be recorded in the office of the Recorder of
17 Los Angeles County.

2 That portion of Beeehwood Avenue as shown on Map of
3 Modjeska Park, in the City o£ Lynwood, County of Los Angeles,
4 State of California, per map recorded in Book 9, Pages 142 and
5 143 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County,
6 described as follows:
7 Beginning at the northwesterly corner of Lot 30,
S Block 15 of said Modjeska Park; thence along the northeasterly
9 line of Block 15 and Block 16 of said Modjeska Park, South
10 84 East, 572.90 feet to the northeasterly corner of Lot 1
11 of said Block 16; thence along the northeasterly prolonga�ion of
12 the southeasterly line of said Block 16, North 17 East,
13 5L 15 feet to the southwesterly line o£ Block 18 of said Modjeska
14 Park; thence along said southwesterly line of Block 18, North
15 84°14'12" West, 574.36 feet to the southwesterly corner of Lot

4 State of California, per map recorded in Book 9, Pages 142 and
5 143 of Maps, in the office of the County Recorder o£ said County,
6 described as follows:
7 Beginning at the nortfiwesterly corner of Lot 40, Block
8 16 of said Modjeska Park; thence along the northwesterly line of
9 said Block 16, South 17 West, 274.93 feet to the north-
10 westerly corner of Lot 29 of said Block 16; thence at right
ii angles, North 72 West, 40.00 feet to the southeasterly
12 line of Block 15 of said Modjeska Park; thence along said
13 southeasterly line of Block 15, North 1 7 ° 57'55" East, 266.28
