A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE CITY
ENGINEER AND AUTHORIZING THE LEVYING OF THE
ASSESSMENT COVERING STREET LIGHTING EXPENSES
IN T:IE CITY OF LYNWOOD FOR THE 1971-72 FISCAL
YEAR.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Lynwood did,
on the 29th day of April, 1971, f31e with the City Clerk as
directed by Resolution No, 71-30 of tYle Cit�� Council of the City
of Lynwood, a report setting forth the costs and expenses for
street lighting service in the City of Lynwood for the twelve
month period commencing July 1, 1971, together with the aasessment
diagram and assessment roll. Said written report was made pursuant
to the provisions of Sectioc� 180a0 and 180g1 0; Chapter 6, Division
15, Part l, of the Streets and i3igi�.ways Code of the State of
California;
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood, as follows:
Section 1 . That said report, diagram, and asseasment
roll, unmodi£ied, is hereby approved and adopted.
Section 2 . That the levying o£ the assessment as
proposed in said report ie hereby authorized and approved.
Section 3 . That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood
is hereby directed to tra.nsmit to the County of Los Angeles Tax
Collector the diagram and assessment roll upon which said levy
is ba.sed, and said County Tax Collector is hereby authorized
and directed to make collections of all such assessments and to
perform all of the acts a.nd duties as are required by said act
to be performed by the persons designated as "Tax Collector" in
Chapter 6, Division 14, Part I, of the Streets and Highways Code

APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of June, 1971
