2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
$ LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE DESTRUCTION OF CERTAIN
¢ PUBLIC RECORDS NO LONGER REQUIRED.

g WHEREAS, certain public records hereinafter described,
7 in the opinion of the City Treasurer, are no longer of sufficient
g historical, administrative, legal, fiscal, research, or other
g value to be retained, as described in subparagraphs (a) through
10 �e) of Section 34090 of the Government Code, and
11 WHEREAS, five years have elapsed since the last day of
12 the fiscal year or calendar year in which such records were
13 prepared, and
14 WHEREAS, the City Attorney has given his written consent
15 to destroy said hereinafter named public records, without making
16 a copy thereof,
lq NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
lg THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, AS FOLLOWS:
19 Section 1. That destruction of the following public
20 records is hereby approved:
21 Sales Tax records accumulated during period City collect
22 their own sales tax.
23 Pecreation Requisitions
� Swimming Poo1 Receipts through 1967.
25 Cancelled Checks through 1963 for the following funds:
26 Treasurer's Trust Fund
2? Petty Cash Fund
� General Fund
29 Payroll Fund
30 1911 Bond Act
31 1933 Bond Act
' 32 All bank statements, pass books, and deposit slips

g Section 2. That the City Treasurer is hereby authorized
7 and directed to destroy the above mentioned public records.
