2 A RESOLUTION (EXHIBIT A) OF THE CITY COUNCIL
3 OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ALLOCATING FUNDS FOR
4 ADVERTISING, PROMOTION, AND PUBLICITY FOR
5 FISCAL YEAR 1971-72.
6 The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
7 resolve as follows:
g Section 1. An Agreement exists between the City of
g Lynwood and the Lynwood Chamber of Commerce to which this
10 resolution is a part and is referred to as "Exhibit A.�' The
il purpose of this exhibit is to establish a budget and a method
12 �f Payment to the Chamber in exchange for advertising, promotion,
13 and publicity for the city. It is the City Council's desire
14 that strict attention be paid to all £acets of said Agreement,
15 especially those of Section 2 which refer to gaining permission
16 for "approved" advertising and "misleading" advertising.
17 Section 2. There is appropriated £rom the General Fund
18 of the city a total of $10,060 which is the maximum to be paid
lg for advertising, promotion, and publicity in fiscal 1971-72. This
20 money will be allocated at the rate of $2,515.00 beginning on or
21 about July l, 19�1, and continuing to be paid on or about the
22 first day of each third month for the remaining eleven months o£
23 the fiscal year until the totalamount is paid and subject to the
� audit and payback stipulations contained in the Agreement.
25 Sectibn 3. A definite budget indicating anticipated
Zs items of expenditures is outlined below. Maximum salary in
27 relationtfl revenues has been provided, but under no circumstance
� will such administrative costs exceed thirty-three and one-third
29 Per cent (33-1/3%} of all monies, from whatever source, expended
30 f�r city advertising and publicity. Under no circumstances will
31 he contractual services apply to the 33-1/3% administrative costs.�

21 Section 4. This exhibit resolution shall terminate on
22 Sune 30, 1971.
