BCAG Meeting One: February 8
• Meet group members, the project team, and liaisons
• Initiate and refine BCAG process and operating protocols
• Present overview of shoreline science and shoreline change
• Discuss project data collection
BGAC Meeting Two: Week of March 7
• Review Beach Access Survey, discuss impacts
• Refine agenda for Public Visioning meeting
• View potential impacts of sea level rise, storm surge, and sediment changes on
Brewster’s public coastline
• Review additional data collected, discuss impacts
Public Visioning Workshop: Saturday March 19 or March 26
• Present information about shoreline science and shoreline change
• View potential impacts of sea level rise, storm surge, and sediment changes on
Brewster’s public coastline
• Elicit range of public interests and priorities for Brewster’s coastline and beaches
• Develop set of success criteria for evaluating options and alternatives for managing
Brewster’s public coast
BCAG Meeting Three: Week of March 28
• Review/synthesize information gathered from visioning session
• Explore range of management actions for addressing potential changes to
Brewster’s coastline, including options for access
• Refine process and agenda for Charrette
Multi-day Charrette: Week of April 25 or May 9
Series of evening and day meetings, ending with one Saturday meeting
• Public evaluation and refining of options for management actions for addressing
potential changes to Brewster’s coastline, including options for access
BCAG meeting four: Week of May 16
• Refine outcomes from multi-day Charrette
• Review and refine language for final Coastal Adaptation Strategy
