2 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION OF THE CITY
$ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, DECLARING
4 ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF THE FIRST
5 ALLEY NORTH OF IMPERIAL HIGHWAY BETWEEN
s FRACAR AND ALEXANDER AVENUES.

g The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
g resolve as follows:
10 Section 1. That the following described alley is
11 unnecessary for present or prospective alley purposes and the �
12 Public interest necessity, and convenience require, and the City
13 Council of said City hereby declares its intention to vacate and
14 abandon a portion of the first alley north of Imperial Highway
15 between Fracar and Alexander Avenues, described as follows:
16 The north 16 feet of Lots 6 and 7, in Block A, Tract
17 12197, in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of
18 California, as per map recorded in Book 227, Pages 37 and 38 of
19 maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said County.
20 Section 2. That said alley above described lying and
2 1 being in said City of Lynwood, is shown on Map No. 1971-2 on file
22 in the office of the City Clerk of said City, and to which all
23 Parties interested are referred for further particulars as to the
� proposed vacation and abandonment.
, 25 Section 3. That these proceedings are had and taken
26 under the provisions of Section 8322 et seq of the Streets and
27 Highways Code of the State of California, as amended.
� Section 4. The City of Lynwood reserves and excepts
29 from the vacation the permanent easement and right at any time,
30 or from time to time, in, upon, over or across any alley or part
31 thereof proposed to be vacated and pursuant to any existing
32 franchises or renewals thereof to construct, maintain, operate,

1 replace, remove, renew and enlarge lines of pipe, conduits,
2 cables, wires, poles and other convenient structures, equipment
3 and fixtures for the operation of telephone lines, and for the
4 transportation and distribution of electrical energy, including
5 access and the right to keep the property free from inflammable
s materials, and wood growth, and otherwise protect the same from
7 all hazards in, upon andover the alley or part thereof proposed
g to be vacated, pursuant to Section 8330 Streets & Highways Code.
g The within proceedings for vacation of alleys (or portions
10 thereof) are taken subject to such reservations and exceptions.
11 Section 5. That Tuesday, the 19th day of October,
12 1971, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Cit
13 Hall 1133o Bullis Road, in said City, is hereby fixed as the
14 time and place for hearing any protests or objections to the
15 proposed vacation or abandonment of said alley.
16 Section 6. The City Clerk of the City of Lynwood is
' 17 hereby directed to publish and post notice of the passage of this
ig resolution in the time, form, and manner required by law.
