A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, CONSENTING TO ESTAB-
LISHMENT OF A PORTION OF IMPE RIAL HIGHWAY
WITHIN SAID CITY AS A PART OF THE SYSTEM OF
COUNTY HIGHWAY5 OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES.
WHEREAS, fhe Board of Supervisors did on 6eptember 28,
1971, duly adopt a resolution declaring Imperia.l Highway between
Mona Boulevard and 300 feet easterly of Dunca.n Avenue as a part
of the System of Highways of the County of Ir�s Angeles, all as
provided in Sections 1700 to 1704, inclusive, of the Streets
and Highways Code of the Sta,te o£ California; and
WHEREA.S, said Board of Supervisors by said resolution
requested this council to give its consent to modify traf£ic
control signals within said portion described above:
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Couneil of the City of Lynwood
does resolve a.s Yollows:
SECTION l. Consent to Inclusion in County Highway
System The city council does hereby consent to the establishment
o£ Imperial Highway between Mona Boulevard and 300 feet easterly
of Duncan Avenue as a part of the System of Highways of the County
of Los Angeles, as provided in Sections 1700 to 1704, inclusive,
of the Streets and Highways Code oi the State of California.
Said consent is for the purpose oY the modification of traffic
control signals by the County of Los Angeles, in con£ormity with
its standard plans and specifications for such work, or such
plans and specifications as may be approved by this city council.
SECTION 2. Finding of a Minor Nature This city
council does hereby find tha.t pursuant to Government Code,
Section 65402 (b), the aforesaid improvement is for street
improvements of a minor nature and that, therefore, the prov9.sions
of said Section requiring the submission to and report upon said
project by the City Planning Agency do not apply.
